As a writer (more specifically, a singer-songwriter), I had convinced myself for the longest time that the only way I could make a career out of writing involved journalism school, corporate America desk jobs or moving to Nashville to get a publishing deal, none of which would be feasible for me. I also have a strong loyalty to my hometown of St. Louis, Missouri, where there is an incredible music scene that deserves more attention. I knew there had to be another way to be a successful writer, share my words and touch people's hearts. 

Verseary is the perfect gift for someone who deserves something as unique and special as them. The process is simple:  

1. Review the FAQ & Legal Info document to make sure that you have a good understanding of the process.

2. Select the package below, and place your order. The deposit (the price listed) is due up front, and the remaining balance is due at time of receipt of final draft.

3. Once your order is received and accepted, I will send you a form to fill out with details about you and the recipient.  

4. When the song is completed, you will receive one draft for you to review and either accept, or make any suggestions regarding edits.  

5. Once the final balance is received, the final Verseary is then sent along to either you or the recipient depending on the package you select.  

I am, quite literally, a one woman show. At this time, I am only accepting a small amount of orders each month so I can ensure that each song I create receives my full time and attention, and is finished in time. I reserve the right to turn down orders based upon capacity, scheduling or any other conflicts. Each song is copywritten under Colleen Duhart, unless previous arrangements are made.
